Privacy
This is a personal portfolio site. It has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, no third-party scripts or fonts, and no contact form. It sets no cookies. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for.
What follows is everything there is to say, which is not much.
$ ls ~/.local/state
Stored on your device
One thing gets saved in your browser, and only if you play the game: your best score, kept in localStorage under the key tetris.best.
It is a single number. It is not tied to a name, an account, or an identifier, and it cannot be used to recognise you. It never leaves your device — unlike a cookie, localStorage is not attached to network requests, so it is never sent anywhere and I never see it.
It lives in that one browser on that one device, so it does not follow you to your phone or to a different browser. Clearing your site data removes it, and a private window discards it when you close the tab.
$ tail /var/log/access.log
Server logs
The site is a handful of static files served by a web host. Like every web server, that host writes ordinary request logs — IP address, timestamp, the file requested, browser user-agent — in order to serve the pages and to defend against abuse.
I have not added anything on top of those logs. There is no analytics layer, no dashboard, and no profile of visitors built from them. This is the same thing that happens when you visit any website anywhere.
$ grep -rn 'third-party' .
Third parties
Nothing. Every file the site loads — stylesheets, scripts, icons, images — comes from this domain. No CDN, no webfonts from someone else's server, no embeds.
There are outbound links to LinkedIn and GitHub. Those reach anyone only if you click them, and once you do, that site's own privacy policy applies rather than this one.
$ cat rights.md
Your data
Because the site collects nothing that identifies you, there is nothing held about you to hand over, correct, or delete. The one piece of stored data is your high score, it sits on your device, and you can clear it yourself at any time.
If you have a question about any of this, reach me on LinkedIn.
